Revisiting Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Following The Focre Awakens comes the network premiere of Rian Johnson’s Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi, the uneven but innovative oddity in the middle of the sequel trilogy before J.J. Abrams changed his mind and undid a bunch of it.

(The island)

(And she’s quite right, the Skellig Michael 6th-8th century monastery is built in a similar manner.)

(“Stop enjoying this! Stop enjoying this!”)

(Rey’s vision)

(Leia shoots Poe)
I’m getting more and more confused.

(Note hero music for Finn’s plan to take out the cannon.)

(Luke walks out with a laser sword to face down the whole First Order.)
Why does he suddenly look younger again?
(Why indeed?)
