If the DCEU continues long enough, finding someone who can play Lobo half this well is going to be tough.
Other than that, Aquaman felt very comic-strip and rather pulpy. I presume at least some of the extraneous unused comes from the comics - an entire Atlantean kingdom which is described as lost, for example.
Not to mention the dinosaur land at the centre of the earth.
And on the subject of comics feel, Ocean Master has an expressive eye-narrowing mask and nobody even comments on it. That’s just a thing masks can do in superhero movies now.
It could also have done with cutting at least two of the times a conversation was interrupted by a wall exploding in.
