Well, if they really are doing that, it certainly solves the Problem of Jesse, as fans are likely to stay invested in Xander to a greater extent.
And after the light bouncy fun Giant Bat Monster story, it’s a really dark twist even if it doesn’t go all the way. The way it plays out hurts.
Eric is cool, which is cool.
And Angel looks like it’s going to get a whole new supporting cast... and then doesn’t.
