A city full of vampires

One per day for the month, for V5. A couple have actually appeared in games, but quite a few are new ideas. Some lean in to clan types, some away. Most of them are horrible people.

1: The Prince
Katherine Drake, Ventrue
Behind several landlord networks in various neighbourhoods. Likes to hold court in back rooms of public buildings. Dark green frock coat. Killer cheekbones.

2: The Hidden Elder
Constance, Gangrel
Three hundred years old. Keeps a crow watching the court. Doubts she is really the oldest thing in the valley.

3: Keeper of Elysium
Armistead James, Ventrue
A younger childe of the previous Prince, Drake's sire - both laugh off comments about how he died. He curates a private gallery, keeps his head shaved and likes to discuss vintage photography.

4: Sheriff
Julia Barrett, Toreador
A street gang member before her Embrace in the 1960s, when she broke into the haven of a Kindred art thief. Her expertise with stealth and covering up crimes also helps in reverse. She's also very good with a knife.

5: Spymaster
Cristina Crawford, Nosferatu
Pale as a drowning victim, with jaundice yellow eyes and blood-flecked saliva. Dresses like a student at the university, always with a hoodie. Good enough with Animalism to suspect Constance exists. Not her real name. (Not that many of them use their real names.)

6: Blood supply
Dr. George Milliner, Hecata
Whole and fresh, separated and waste, blood rich organs, and he can ensure bodies are quietly incinerated as well - without informing Ms. Barrett will cost extra, naturally.

7: Regent
William Van De Kamp, Tremere
An astronomer in life, still more an intellectual than a politician. He walks with a cane, and avoids coming to Elysium during the winter as he claims walking in the cold bothers him.

8: Regent's second
Carlton Eaves, Tremere
Assigned by the Regent of the larger city hours away, shortly after the Pyramid cracked, Eaves has never been seen to smile by any of the city's Kindred.

9: Rack club overseer, Camarilla
Jake Walters, Brujah
Once a manager for bands you've never heard of any of, expert in getting people into clubs, spreading word of mouth, dealing with the turnover of businesses in the district, and getting ODing people out before the cops arrive.

10: Rack club overseer, Anarch
Malice, Toreador
Of all the Goths in the 80s Embraced because their sires thought they "got it", she's one of the ones who actually did. Since then she's ensured there's at least one weekly night in an alternative club where Kindred feel at home.

11: Anarch ringleader
Thomas Givens, Brujah
A small press bookseller Embraced by a 60s radical, he talks about the lessons of history and the secret influence of the Kindred - and how small that often is.

12: Anarch footsoldier
Sam Deakins, Malkavian
Formerly a hospital orderly Embraced by a "patient" who needed protection, so familiar with tackling and restraining opponents. He sides with the anarchs having seen how the Camarilla leech from institutions.

13: Cult leader
Alberic, Toreador
A university archivist in life, he impressed a Kindred scholar interested in Biblical apocrypha. After her recent disappearance, he has started to build a blood cult using his knowledge.

14: Events fixer
Thomas Chen, Ventrue
What is the hot ticket tonight? Every few months a new club, restaurant, band or play hits big. He ensures the right people get in. He's never supported one for more than six months except as a favour to another Kindred.

15: Smuggler
Lane McGrath, Toreador
Based in the city but active along the coast, they have made a niche transporting small valuable items, recently including letters from the courts of neighbouring Camarilla cities. They usually drive the second most common car on the road.

16: Consul
Oliver Palmer, Ventrue
Childe and representative of the nearest neighbouring Prince - a fellow childe of Ms. Drake's sire - he is in the city to encourage cooperation, and absolutely not the idea that his sire would be better at his blood-sibling's job. Not at all.

17: Assassin
Walter Moss, Ventrue
Formerly a protection racketeer for one of the city's mob families, Embraced during the conflict that led to the Final Death of the previous prince, now in business for himself and happy to take mortal money as well as vampire boons.

18: Church of Caine advocate
Brother Matthew Cassel, Gangrel
A new and not entirely welcome arrival, a preacher before and after the Embrace now spreading the word of Caine. Probably not former Sabbat, but Drake has him under observation. Just in case.

19: Off-the-books blood supply
Anika Jansen, Caitiff
It's best not to let someone monopolise such an important trade. A fence in life who's moved into this market, she guarantees her supply is clean - but sometimes that means dumping a batch and having nothing in stock.

20: Artist
Laurence Vallée, Toreador
He has spent the last twenty-seven years making weekly charcoal sketches of the city skyline at sunset. No-one is sure what he does the rest of the week.

21: Financier
Elaine Franklin, Toreador
A skilled financial fraudster in life, she shared a sire with the Sheriff. In recent nights she leaves much of her work to mortals using computers, but keeps Kindred business in a coded ledger.

22: Drug dealer
Vincent Stilson, Brujah
Officially, none of his product is used to flavour blood on the Rack. Unofficially, there are a few clubs just across the dividing line...

23: Musician
Angelique Boucher, Ministry
A student cellist in life, after forty years honing her skills and improving her precision with the blood, bored and looking for something else to try.

24: Fence
Bradley Taylor, Nosferatu
His skin seems cracked and raw, and muscles pulse seemingly at random just under the surface. But he gives a very good price for stolen goods to those willing to shake his hand.

25: Hacker
Joshua Lanvin, Brujah
He tackles online security for any vampire that can pay, relies on a lot of physical surveillance tactics, and lately is very nervous.

26: Medium
Ligeia Di Giovanni, Hecata
She claims that she went blind with the Embrace and can only see the spirit world. She only comes to Elysium when it is held in buildings that will admit her seeing eye dog, which never shies away from other vampires as animals should.

27: Forger
Kelly Greene, Toreador
She forges artwork, sure, but also provenances, certifications for cover identities, currency, death certificates for "natural causes", and there was that one time someone wanted a page from a Fifteenth Century German copy of the Book of Nod...

28: Autarkis
Penelope Alderton, Gangrel
In life, she saw her family through the Depression after her husband abandoned them. Embraced for her financial acumen, she kept to herself even before the last Prince fell.

29: The unwanted
Diana Burton, Thin-Blood
She was bitten and almost drained by a strange man on the night she arrived in the city after running away from home. Now a woman in a ragged old shawl is watching over her. She says that she wants to help her, and her baby...

30: The end
Elizabeth Lang, Dhampir
Her father was struck down before she was born, but her mother escaped. She will find the vampire responsible, no matter who gets in her way.
