7V: SMALL
Since most of my main post thoughts on Small don’t apply or wouldn’t fit...
Small groups: The RPGs I was familiar with before Vampire: The Masquerade generally aimed at groups of around four to six, but it was meant for half that with a stronger character focus intended. I’ve rarely actually GMed the Darkness family of games that small, with more ease at the four to six mark.
Small-time characters: Vampire defaults to newly-made Kindred, particularly Masquerade in V5, on the outs with the local big names, although the physical power disparity isn’t as intense as it has been. Even so, they still generally have to deal with gangs rather than armies, have a contact in the police rather than sway over the whole city force, and so on. Going big can be fun sometimes, see THRONE for thoughts on the rarity of PC Princes and the like.
Small town settings: Better for some games than others, a town or small city losing the anonymity of the city is a risk for vampires, but does make it easier for PCs to be the bigger fish. A game with half a dozen monsters apart from the PCs feels different than one with ten times that, let alone one where the PCs are almost alone.

Missing posters appear for Alice. With her mother a vampire, and also dead, who is posting them?
