“Mind Flayer” is never a good sign. Having a guy who got into Imperial work for the science claiming he wants to use it for good, doomed by a bit of Imperial tech repurposed for good without the required safety features. Horrible and hypocritical. (And funny as the guy in charge casually talks about how soothing it is.)
