Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One

Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One is the longest of the series yet, even longer than its title! But it mostly rattled along quickly.

The Mission: Impossible film series went more team-based with MI:III being a big episode of Alias, this has all gone a bit...

Person of Interest.

In all it’s a small change, the MacGuffin being able to think for itself, but a change all the same, a shift in what’s possible in the setting.

Meanwhile, it’s also a great example of a cross-Allegiance Trinity game, with Alert Status 1 mixed up with a perfect example of a Les Fantômes PC. Grace brings a bit of caper tone to her first couple of scenes in particular.

While the Venice scenes still have me thinking of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt in particular as I mentioned a year ago with the trailer in their John Wick lighting rave in a church and swordfight specifics.

The Uncharted train bit was a bit much.

Also, kinds fridging - but pointedly done and mostly affects someone other than Ethan.
