Concept: teenage runaway

Alice is alive. Her mother was close to it, closer than vampires are supposed to be. And someone hunted her down for this. They didn’t get along so she was out that night, and when she saw the house burned out she ran, and didn’t look back. She knew just enough about Anarchs to contact one in the city, who sent her to the relative safety of the club. It’s alright for now...

V5 doesn’t have rules for dhampirs, the living children of vampires, yet, so I could have used the mortal or ghoul rules but decided to go with the Thin-Blood rules. Thin-Bloods have some specific Merits and Flaws to reflect the blood being unpredictable, taking an equal number.

Thin-Blood Merits

Day Drinker (able to go out safely in daylight, though without powers)
Lifelike (appears alive by default, something full-blooded vampires have to imitate)

Thin-Blood Flaws

Baby Teeth (no fangs)
Vitae Dependency (cannot use powers without ingesting vampire blood)

Convictions and Touchstones

Don’t hurt if there’s no need (her father)

Help those trying to help (shelter manager)

Protect the innocent from harm (shelter staff)
