By jury-rigging a chunk of the time travel monolith that brought them to the shattered Earth of 2092. After fighting the Kree snob gone berserk.
Deke’s not-quite Star Lord ensemble included a helmet with rather Iron Man shaped eyes, and now we see it has something very like the Iron Man HUD as well, which is a lovely little link to the MCU.
Sad Future Yoyo With No Arms was hugely creepy.
