Your Series: Endgame

How do you do a big finale?

No Time To Die is the first time a version of James Bond gets an ending, as he got a beginning as well. This got me thinking about Avengers Endgame and not just because...

...we get a FIVE YEARS LATER caption after a couple of scenes.

We also have our hero fighting for higher stakes than this version is used to, and more personal ones as well thanks to a daughter born in that five year gap. Felix dies halfway through, like Natasha. (Paloma has even less to do than Natasha in Iron Man 2, but that’s beside the point.)

A reasonably planned finale is a rarity in RPGs - they tend to end without warning like other Bond tenures.

Knowing you’re coming in on the finale definitely changes how players treat their characters, so it’s worth trying. Cue inevitable The Watch House reference.
