It’s maybe the third best Guardians Of The Galaxy movie, beating the Holiday Special and Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania. (Actual GOTG 2 remains worst by far.)
It gets around the Superman-is-so-powerful issue with her established travelling to variable suns, and uses it a lot, along with lots of superhumanly strong enemies as well.
Weirds up the twist in Superman retroactively - I presume they just didn’t talk about their fathers’ philosophies at any point?
(Yes I still don’t like that. And now it’s weirded up by the second film of two so far in this setting.)
Least convincing jeopardy clock in a long long time.
Lobo is fun but completely extraneous.
