Alien: Earth - In Space, No One...

Alien: Earth 1.05 gets its own post, because I mostly like it, as a largely separate prologue (not set on Earth for one thing) that elicits sympathy for someone we hate now and ends reminding us why, and particularly as it does something I want more from Alien spinoffs, an Alien story in a different genre.

Here, a mystery.

That said, I would have preferred if all the major problems rose from the same source instead of there also being some rank incompetence involved. We had Prometheus portraying hubris to comical idiocy already.

Both the Apprentice Engineer and Morrow’s assistant seem like college interns who were, I don’t know, lured into the ship via a trail of candy or something!

  1. Space... very much the final frontier.

These are the voyages of the starship Maginot, its sixty-five-year mission to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilisations - to boldly go where no-one can hear you scream!
