Beck
Robin
Vince
Beck arranges a meeting with his sire Alva, a wine bar around the West End. He asks about concerns with the Tremere and the Sheriff, and about finding a rogue Banu Haqim. In exchange she asks for help with a small charitable event, something his position in the Church of England will help more than the Church of Caine.
The next night, she updates him to say that the Banu Haqim has done something for Joseph Milliner, the Hecata investor.
Robin scouts out the chop shop, Garcia Motor Repair. Entering and asking for Sergio, they meet a man with a scraggly grey beard and, when they mention Burke sent them, a nervous look.
The only Banu Haqim he knows of in the city is Nikolai, a name Robin doesn’t recognise. A better person to ask would be Flynn, the Ravnos smuggler. He also offers to have his men detail Robin’s car.
--
When Robin returns to collect the car, they find Vince sitting at a bus stop around the corner.
“What are you doing here?”
“Oh, I was there when you asked Burke.”
“Eavesdropping.”
“I wouldn’t say that. But yes. Looking for your sire?”
“I am.”
“We have that in common, then. Maybe we can help each other out.”
“I was directed to a Ravnos.”
“Flynn?”
Robin reluctantly lets Vince ride with them.

Beck meets with Astor and receives a 19th century chapbook on the Chronicle of Shadows.
--
Vince asks about Robin’s sire, and they share a little, that she was an ex, when they were both human.
“Bad breakup. And she came back to do this to me,”
“Revenge?”
“Isn’t that what most sires do this for?”
“Well, I don’t know most, mine saw promise in me. Or so he said.”
Flynn’s base is in a lockup next to a patch of open ground used to park cars, near the docks. On the south side, where the Camarilla doesn’t really go.
A woman steps up as Robin and Vince get out of the car, checking for hints of a threat.
“Eli, lovely to see you.” Vince smiles.
“Is it.” Eli does not smile.
“Always!”
Inside the lockup are stacks of suspect electronics, likely stolen art, some weapons and more.
Flynn relaxes on a chaise longue.
“Well, Vincent, what have you brought us tonight?”
“First of all, I got rid of that thing. Second, I’m here purely as a guide. This is Robin.”
“Heard of you. What can we do for each other?”
“I’m looking for someone. Beverley Beaufoy.”
“May I ask what you need her for?”
“It’s a personal matter.”
“That’s a first. Did she steal something from you?”
“Nothing like that. Like I say, personal.”
“Oh, I do my level best to avoid anything like that.”
“I just want to talk.”
“Then I’ll need a favour in return. Nothing big. If she and I can still do business. If not...”
“I’m sure I can find a suitably qualified replacement.”
“I see. Should I call her and ask?”
“She wouldn’t know me by this name.”
“None of us are using our real names here.”
Flynn considers, and nods. Eli retrieves a burner phone from a drawer full of them and puts in a number.
Trying to judge if Flynn and Eli are telling the truth, Robin can tell they’re in the lair of another monster.

Beck locates a good bottle of wine to present to Novak when asking him to visit to inquire about Milliner’s business.
Apparently it was to cut someone out of a deal for some designer something or other. But he was willing to pass along a dead drop location.
--
The weekend arrives, a live performance at XX allowing Kindred to meet somewhere louder and thus more private than Elysium.
Robin cleans up with help from Vince, ‘street’ but not ‘living on the street’.
Vince does his best to blend in with the dark club mood apart from a bright tie to draw attention away from wearing sunglasses indoors at night.
Beck, all in black and grey, observes from the VIP balcony.
--
Did she steal something from you?
OOC suggestion from Vince’s player: My heart!
