Long version: Wanda going full villain due to reading the bad book in the credits scene of WandaVision, after spending that whole series nearly going full villain and then pulling back.
Well, there was other stuff as well.
I had managed to dodge enough not to know that was a parallel Mordo and just how many parallel Stranges we’d see or that this was how they’d give Christine more to do (thanks mostly to exposition and mystical knowledge this version had).
And I guess if you’re going to call in Sam Raimi you should expect an eyeball bit.
If Pizza Poppa was hitting himself on the street for three weeks, I will have to No-Prize that Strange also added a Somebody Else’s Problem cloaking spell to explain why nobody helped or stopped him. Which makes him even more of an asshole.
Oh, and I thought the ruined world was nicely done.
But coming after Spider-Man: No Way Home actively undoing a Redemption Equals Death from another pre-MCU Marvel movie by Sam Raimi...
So, yeah. Disappointed. Kind of angry. I try to be positive in this blog, so moving on.
