12: Ice Skating
Ice Skating: Going fast on flat ice by strapping blades to your feet. Can also be a surface for beautiful athletic dance moves with extra danger.
We have apparently been doing this for four thousand years, and sharpening blades for about six hundred. The first organised skating club was the Edinburgh Skating Club, dating back to least 1740 and possibly a century before.

Winter Olympic sport most likely to be full of vampires: figure skating. Ironic as Buffy was into it.
Characters are amusingly likely to be terrible at it to start with.
May also result in the ice breaking and a character falling in, risking drowning with the added visual of the clear solid ice making it harder to get out and easier to helplessly watch it happen.
So ice skating can introduce speed, slapstick, and danger into a day out in cold weather.
