3: Power Broker
The GRC commercial was a nice hollow laugh moment.
Madripoor is a fictional city-state from the Wolverine solo comics, though Madripoor felt more like a visit to the John Wick universe. The skyline is mostly Shanghai, I think? And the city itself is apparently a cyberpunk freeport with very JW projection-heavy techno rave parties and similarly efficient bounty hunting phone alerts, and related to Sharon gets the big long-takes fight. (So much so that I was wondering if we were going to get a full Marvel Netflix one-taker.)
Edit: It has since been pointed out that this week’s episode was written by Derek Kolstad, the main writer for the John Wick films. So, yes.
And Karli gets more and more sympathetic, and then less so. While Walker just gets less so.
And the Power Broker is named-dropped but never seen... or are they?
