He drives her out to their cabin in the country in the snow where they spend a seemingly romantic gesture kind of night, then he handcuffs her to him and kills himself as she wakes.
It’s different enough from Gerald’s Game to be an interesting comparison. She ends up handcuffed to his corpse for different reasons and has different obstacles to overcome as it plays as a thriller relying mostly on one performance and nicely escalating problems rather than an ordeal.
Megan Fox leads doing a fine job switching from a mask of calm to pushing into anger over fear.
The medium: Netflix
Gameability: Stuck in the middle of nowhere being hunted while handcuffed to a dead body is a pretty specific set of problems but here we are.
