24f: Star Trek Adventures
So far I’ve kept to the core rulebook options but I decided to tag in an extra book to see what the Efrosians have in this system. I remember the FASA version added in the sourcebook for The Voyage Home with warrior-priests who sometimes wore ceremonial robes when working as medical officers. I see later developments pretty much ignored that version apart from their arctic origin, including them being a new addition to the Federation as its President was one two films later. (Looking back I’d definitely lose the part about hair colour being so gendered that it’s shameful to be born ‘wrong’.)
Now we have linguists with a music-based learning method and eyes that don’t cope well with light.
Let’s do what the shows usually do and massively alter and expand as the series goes on. So a bit of a warrior priest feel to a science officer who’s also a language expert.
He’s more playable than my previous idea for a science officer, Mr. N.
