3a: Angel
When you’re investigating supernatural stuff, having somebody with a supernatural investigative ability can be helpful. See Doyle’s plot-hooking visions of danger which he passed on to Cordelia, Lorne’s ability to sense people’s future when they sing, and a variety of good and evil special guest psychics and the like. And they all have something else to bring to the table too, like Doyle’s criminal contacts and Lorne’s ability to charm past his being a green guy with horns.
Dade Lamont
Type: Investigator (fortune teller)
Jordan Fisher |
Description: Nervy
Example quote: “Hey, if I had control over this I’d be buying lottery scratchers.”
Dade didn’t find much in his gambler grandfather’s place when he had to clear it out, except a deck of off-brand fortune-telling cards. And this deck really works. But generally only to warn of danger and sometimes provide guidance when stuck, not to find treasure or predict sports bets.
