Josh was busking, in between high school and college, when he heard her sing. He played something sad and she joined in like she’d known it all her life. And then she saved him and a bunch of other people from some kind of killer robot. So when she asked if he wanted to see some more of the universe, he picked up his guitar and followed her through a door that shouldn’t have been there.
