We’ve got a few options here. Physical threads, for navigating labyrinths and the like. Metaphorical threads, emotional connections.
Astral projection, perhaps with Caitlin noticing zoned-out students have silver threads coming out of the backs of their heads and leading off into the distance.
Evil sewing circles.
Arguing on the internet.
1.03: Stringer
One of the unnecessarily fancy “secret society” houses on campus has a hedge maze. And a bunch of rich snobby guys who could totally go for the “demon-worshipping cult” thing and/or the “hunting people for sport” thing. We can see where this is going, right?
Just to change things up, maybe they don’t know about their squatter at the centre of the maze.
“We’re certainly on the horns of a dilemma.”
“How long have you been waiting to use that?”
“Oh, since Tuesday.”
