13V: FLOOD
As noted in my main post there are so many games out there, including a lot of new non-RPG games for Vampire: The Masquerade and the World Of Darkness, like Werewolf: The Apocalypse getting its first and second computer games this year.
But the Flood is also important in Vampire: The Masquerade lore, the Biblical catastrophe that destroys the First City ruled openly by vampires and separates the clans from their Third Generation founders - also known as the Antediluvians.
While it’s largely accepted out of character that the Caine origin is canon as it was there since the first edition pre-release advertising and is supported by the Generation system, the lore has conflicting theories and unreliable narrators. And some of them have founded religions.
Vampire: The Requiem only has conflicting theories and unreliable narrators, no accepted answer with game support. It still has its share of arguing religions.
A modern Anarch game is unlikely to touch on Noddist lore extensively, like a gritty crime series probably won’t feature many episodes about mysterious artefacts or miracles, but throwing one in can be an interesting change of pace. Vampire stories are often shot through with religious symbolism.

And even with a largely secular group like the Anarchs, their enemies don’t have to be. The Anarchs have representatives of the Ministry though not so much the cult of Set, the Camarilla has some room for the Church of Caine, and the Sabbat has been a theocracy at times. And then there’s the Second Inquisition.
Not to mention crossover options featuring demons, and indeed the gods of other religions...

Shane’s broodmate and her gang of smugglers have something they need to stash in a secure location like Nocturne, and not the usual weapons or stolen goods - a Byzantine statue of the Archangel Michael taken from a former Sabbat religious leader’s lair.
And some of the high priest’s followers want it back.
And the Church of Caine want it as well.
And so does the Keeper of Elysium.
And a group of mortal occultists.
And...
