15V: SUPPLEMENT
If I were to recommend one supplement for either Vampire game, or many urban fantasy games, it would be Damnation City for Requiem, a guide for making and populating city settings with a wide variety of examples ready to use. (Grab the free add-on for map segments and ways to use them.)
I sometimes semi-seriously refer to the non-Camarilla clans in Masquerade as supplementary, more specialised and niche than the originals, sometimes taking niches that could already be filled. Vampires are already pretty good assassins, for one! I also note that until V5 they all had their own special Discipline, which with the addition of Dementation for Malkavians meant it went from five out of seven not having them to four out of thirteen not counting Bloodlines. They often became more interesting with their own supplements in turn.
But for an adventure idea I’ll use a different definition of supplement:
2.03: By The Numbers
The speaker for another Anarch coterie asks the regulars to bolster their numbers for a meeting with a group of independent vampires looking to move into the city. An example of a plot where the player characters aren’t the most directly involved coterie. And to further play with the players’ expectations, maybe nothing goes particularly wrong.
